Do not miss our First Pilot Training at INES-Ruhengeri: "Understanding Disabilities and Inclusion in Higher Education”!
Taking place in Musanze Town on October 30, Rwanda, the event features a comprehensive agenda focused on:
- Educating participants on the diverse range of disabilities
- Promoting sensitivity towards the unique challenges faced by students with disabilities
- How to implement inclusive teaching methods, accessible campus facilities, and support services that accommodate the diverse needs of students with disabilities
- Encouraging participants to work together for supporting SWDs
- Address common misconceptions and biases about disability
Mr. William NIYONZIMA, Mr. Eustache MUNYANEZA and Mrs. Pauline AHIMANA will welcome participants and instruct them through an expository methodology and flexible didactics.
Thanks to this training, participants will gain a stronger sense of empathy and advocacy for students with disabilities. Furthermore, they will be able to challenge stereotypes and stigma, actively promote inclusion within their institutions, and collaborate across different sectors to support disability rights and access to higher education.
