Do not miss our First Pilot Training at the University of Rwanda!

Taking place in the UR Head Office Gikondo, Kigali, Rwanda on October 30-31, the event features a comprehensive agenda focused on topics such as:

  • Understanding some misconceptions on disability
  • Biases and false believes
  • The importance of attitudes when working with PWD
  • Fundamentals rights and affirmative actions
  • Human Vs Disability Rights
  • Social model of disability
  • From Integration to Inclusion: terms and terminology
  • How to became an ideal inclusive staff?
  • Empathy: the art of walking in other people’s shoes
  • Self-determination of students with disability
  • Independence and transition: how best can we support higher education students?

Prof. Florien Nsanganwimana, Alex Karara, Jean Bosco Nshimiyimana, Pierre Barayagwiza, Emanuel Mbelimana, Uwinyange Beata will be pleased to impart this Pilot Training to participants and transmit all their wise experience on inclusion of people with disabilities in HEIs.
