According to final results of the July 14-16 parliamentary elections announced by the National Electoral Commission (NEC) on Monday, July 22,2024, Olivia MBABAZI who is actually from December 20,2021 up to now President of National Council of Persons with Disabilities (NCPD) and also University Lecturer secured a seat in the Rwandan Parliament to represent Persons with Disabilities, after winning 59,90% defeat 12 other candidates who were vying for the one seat. She will replace Eugene MUSSOLINI who was elected in September 2018.During her tenure as the President of NCPD for 3 years and 7 months, she played a tremendous role in ensure the implementation of NCPD projects including Answer Project.
