On January 24th, the Multi-stakeholder Working Group attended the 1st Multi-stakeholder meeting!

This meeting was attended by different stakeholders, including government representatives, educational leaders, non-governmental organizations, and advocacy groups, all working together to create an inclusive and accessible education system for SWDs: MINEDUC, UWEZO, UR, NCPD HVP Gtagara, FHI 360, RNUD and GS Kamonyi.

Mrs. KOBUSINGYE Mary, the chairperson stressed the importance of the ANSWER Project in fostering an inclusive higher education system that fully supports students with disabilities.

It was emphasized that the meeting was an opportunity for stakeholders to align their efforts in overcoming the systematic challenges facing SWDs in Rwanda’s higher education institutions.
