- Voice Recognition Systems: ECS Professional Word Commander and SuperNova Magnifier & Screen Reader will assist students with hearing impairments by converting spoken language into text and enhancing visual content on screens.
- Braille Technology: Focus Braille Displays and Braille printers like the Everest-D V5 will cater to visually impaired students by converting text into Braille.
- Electronic Magnifiers and Readers: Devices such as the Prodigi Duo 20 and Victor Reader Stream will aid students with low vision, enabling them to read and engage with digital content more effectively.
- Interactive Systems: Projectors and FM systems will support classroom interactions, particularly benefiting students with coordination and hearing challenges.
Submission and Timeline
Bidders are required to submit their proposals by August 29, 2024, at the EAUR Kigali Campus. The tender document can be acquired for a fee of 10,000 RWF for local bidders or 10 USD for international bidders. The contract is expected to be completed within two months, with all equipment to be delivered and installed by October 2024.
